Junior high basketball 🏀 will be rescheduled against Harrison for Wednesday, January 31st.
Due to the Ice Storm Warning issued by the National Weather Service and the potential for hazardous roads and power outages, the Greenwood School District will be closed on Monday, 1/22/2024. Stay warm and be safe.

Good evening. Today, the Greenwood maintenance staff worked diligently to clear the parking lots of our campuses. Additionally, our transportation department and administration drove throughout our district to survey the road conditions. Unfortunately, due to the condition of our school campuses and several rural roads in our district, the Greenwood School District will be closed on Thursday, 1/18/24.
UPDATE!!!
BASKETBALL 🏀 Games:
JVGirls and Boys will play Thursday night (1-18) along with the Varsity games vs. Siloam Springs at HB Stewart Arena. Games will start at 4 p.m.
Due to the fact many of our rural and secondary roads remain snow-covered and hazardous, the Greenwood School District will be closed on Wednesday, 1/17/24. Stay safe and warm!
Wrestling and basketball are cancelled for tomorrow, January 16th.
Basketball vs Siloam Springs has been moved to Thursday night, January 18th at HB Stewart Arena with the girls starting at 6:00

The sports medicine students went on a trip today to the
Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association High School Conference.
The conference included:
-information session by the UofA Program Director for AT for students pursuing athletic training or other healthcare-related degrees
- diagnostic ultrasound with live-demo
- a cadaver dissection lab
- hands-on CPR and Stop the Bleed labs
- live-ACL reconstruction surgery
- Amazing Race: Sports Med edition game (students put into teams with students from other schools and they had to complete a series of tasks to get clues to a puzzle phrase)
It was a GREAT day! The students displayed exemplary behavior and appeared to genuinely enjoy the conference. Their exemplary leadership skills and representation of Greenwood High School were commendable!
