Our 3rd and 4th grade science teachers attended Stream Team training today at the Janet Huckabee Nature Center as part of our School of Conservation Leadership partnership! They learned how to collect and analyze lake water samples, test water quality, and identify macroinvertebrates.
We are so excited to bring this hands-on learning back to East Pointe! This spring, our 3rd and 4th grade students will be monitoring the creek behind our school and collecting real water-quality data throughout the semester. 🌿🌊🔬
