·Some fun things have been happening in Art with Mrs. Pool!! 💙🩶🤍

Camden had a rough start weaving today in Mrs. Pool's art class, but as soon as he figured it out he was super proud of himself! 💙🩶🤍

Our 3rd graders had an exciting week diving into archery as part of our School of Conservation Leadership partnership! They learned the 11 steps of archery success, explored the parts of a bow and arrow, and focused on important safety skills. We’re wrapping up the week with hands-on shooting, thanks to amazing support from volunteers with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center. What a great way to bring learning to life! 💙🩶🤍

It's a Learning to Cast kind of day in PE with Mrs. Jones!! 💙🩶🤍

We are so proud of our 3rd and 4th grade students who competed in the Battle of the Books competition this past Friday at the Guy Fenter Co-op! Their hard work, dedication, and love of reading truly shined as they represented our school. From practicing questions to teamwork during the competition, they gave it their all. Way to go East Pointe readers! 💙🩶🤍

We had an awesome time celebrating our 3rd Quarter AR success! Our students worked so hard reaching their reading goals, and we are so proud of their dedication and love for books. To celebrate, they enjoyed a fun pizza party- HUGE shoutout to our amazing PTO for providing Geno's! Keep reading EP! 💙🩶🤍

Officer Pool came and spoke to third grade today to kick off their week of archery education! 💙🩶🤍

Mrs. Karnes and Mrs. Watts fourth grade science classes had a weathering, erosion, and deposition scavenger hunt today. They ended by hunting for fossils in the playground gravel.

Dribble for Dollars coin drive starts Monday!! 💙🩶🤍

We had an amazing time celebrating Read Across America week! Our students enjoyed a week full of wonderful stories, exciting activities, and a special treat with several guest readers who shared their love of reading with our classes! 3rd & 4th graders enjoyed reading Dr. Seuss stories to our Kindergarten & 1st graders! Finally, we wrapped up the week with an exciting visit from Eastern Exotics from OK, who brought a variety of reptiles for students to see and learn about! It was the perfect way to end a fun-filled week! We hope our students continue to grow their love of reading every day!

Mrs. Pool designed a sensory art lesson for our class that integrated speech therapy. The students learned so much and had the best time!!

Mrs. Scantling’s first grade class enjoyed having representatives from the Freshman Leadership Team and Student Council come read to them on this Wacky Wednesday!
