Last month, our Dojo Store had prizes that some students selected last month where they could play a board game with a friend. Mr. Perry joined in on the fun! πππ
Students who brought back their Holiday Reading Bingo with at least one BINGO got to pick a prize from the treat trolley today! The Holiday Reading Bingo pages kicked off our school-wide goal of reading 1 million pages from January-May. Great start!! πππ
Third graders experimented with magnetic forces today by pulling cars across tracks with magnetics. Thank you Greenwood Education Foundation for helping us teach and learn through hands on experiences! πππ

Third graders learned about empathy, our East Pointe word of the month. They decided to do a change drive to raise money to help brighten Christmas for a child in need. Together the third grade classes raised over $250 for this project. We are so proud of their giving hearts and hope they learned a valuable lesson in empathy for others. β€οΈπβ€οΈπ
