🍎🍏 Apple Nacho Bar Fun! 🍏🍎

Our Sunshine Committee brought a little extra sweetness to the end of the school day by hosting an Apple Nacho Bar for our staff! 🎉

Everyone got to build their own delicious apple nachos with plenty of yummy toppings—a perfect after-school treat! 🍎🍫🥜

A HUGE shoutout and THANK YOU to Walmart for generously donating the items that made our Apple Nacho Bar possible! 💙 Your support helped us spread a little sunshine and show our staff some much-deserved appreciation. ☀️

Officer Haddock doesn’t just keep us safe…he joins us in the science lab! 🐔🔬🦴 Today, our 4th graders explored chicken feet to investigate how bones, muscles, and tendons work together to create movement. Officer Haddock jumped right in to explore alongside us! We love seeing our students learn that science isn’t just something we read about—it’s something we can touch, investigate, question, and discover! Thank you for being willing to get messy and learn with us!

Officer Haddock came and joined the fun in 4th grade PE this week!

Livley’s class took some time to enjoy this beautiful fall weather. We are loving our schools outdoor classroom.

We are excited to announce the winners of our 3rd & 4th Grade Bookmark Contest! Students were invited to put their creativity to work by designing their very own bookmark. The contest was a fun way for our students to combine their love of reading with art and creativity! We received so many wonderful and creative designs, which made choosing the winners no easy task! The “Recess Readers” checked out their new books to read during inside recess today!

📚✨ BOOK TASTING! ✨📚 Our 3rd and 4th graders had a delicious time sampling some great reads at our Book Tasting Event! 🍽️📖 Students got to “taste” a variety of books, explore different genres, and discover new stories they might not normally choose. From mysteries and adventures to fantasy and historical fiction, there was something on the menu for everyone! The best part? Watching our young readers get excited about finding their next great book! ❤️📚 Here’s to trying something new and developing a lifelong love of reading! 🌟
