We had an amazing Shop with a Bulldog Event last month at the Greenwood Wal-Mart. Thank you to all participants and supporters! 💙🩶🤍

Today, several of our teachers attended the Fishing in the Natural State professional development at the Janet Huckabee Nature Center in partnership with the School of Conservation Leadership. Teachers painted their own lures and learned why color and design matter when creating effective lures. They explored fish adaptations that are crucial for survival and examined macroinvertebrates to understand how they impact water quality. Participants also practiced casting techniques, knot tying, and rod-and-reel assembly. We can’t wait to bring all of these hands-on experiences and new learning back to our students at East Pointe!

Another great day of recycling at EP! Huge shoutout to Alpha Packaging for their generous donation of boxes, so that every classroom now has a designated place for recycling! Our students and staff appreciate your support!💚💚💚

Ms. Murphy and her Greenwood High School Choirs brought some Christmas cheer to students at East Pointe today. East Pointe students loved watching the choirs perform. 💚❤️💚❤️💚

Our 3rd and 4th grade science teachers attended Stream Team training today at the Janet Huckabee Nature Center as part of our School of Conservation Leadership partnership! They learned how to collect and analyze lake water samples, test water quality, and identify macroinvertebrates. We are so excited to bring this hands-on learning back to East Pointe! This spring, our 3rd and 4th grade students will be monitoring the creek behind our school and collecting real water-quality data throughout the semester. 🌿🌊🔬 Authentic, conservation-focused science is coming their way!
