🎃 Day 3 in the Mad Lab with our third graders was a blast! We kicked things off with some messy fun, experimenting with "puking pumpkins" using vinegar and baking soda. The kids loved watching the fizzy eruptions! Next, we created pumpkin volcanoes by adding dry ice, which was a real crowd-pleaser. And of course, we couldn't end the day without making slime! First up, we made Boo Bubbles using dry ice, creating a spooky, swirling fog that had the kids giggling with delight. Then we unleashed our inner chemists and created glow-up balloons with vinegar and baking soda—watching those balloons inflate was pure magic! 🎈💥
