Congratulations to Whitley Tallant for winning the United Way Christmas Card Contest! Her design will be featured on the front of their Christmas cards and she won a Target gift card. Thanks to Angie Ruth and United Way for sponsoring this contest.


Congratulations to the chess team that attended the GFESC 3rd/4th grade chess tournament today.
Westwood finished in 3rd place. Mya Morris earned a gold medal with 5 wins for the day. Jason Saldana earned a bronze medal with 4 wins for the day. Other team members include Owen Grayson, Matthew Rye, Tristan Martin, Canaan Clopton, Jackson Porter, Trexton Stoufer, Roman Sterling, Atreyu Pittman, Josiah Cates, Jackson Beckham, Levy Gill, Lincoln Glaze, Harrison Beasley, and Kalel Simmons.






Spanish/French Club had fun learning about the Mexican culture today! They created their own papel picado, sugar skull lanterns, and calendulas (marigolds) for their very own ofrenda! They also learned about the tradition of Dia de los Muertos including the symbolism of the vibrant colors!
