A big day at GJHS! We started bright and early celebrating our military families! We are so thankful for the service of these families and want them to know we appreciate them. Then we moved to the bistro to pull off a special luncheon. Our Bulldog Bistro students partnered with What's Cookin to make a super delicious 3 course meal. We want to say thanks to the families that joined us for these two events and a big shout out to the Blue Dazzlers that worked to make the luncheon AMAZING!

Join us in wearing purple on Friday, April 21st to show support for all the military kids for the strength and sacrifices they have made. Purple represents joint service operations and combines Army Green, Air Force Blue, Space Force Blue, Coast Guard Blue, Marine Red, and Navy Blue; it is the appropriate color to represent military children from all branches.

This week has been amazing at GJHS. Tomorrow we are raising money for Make a Wish. Students can wear a hat, if they are willing to donate $1 to Make a Wish. We are also looking into the possibility of adding a Drama/Theatre class at GJHS, and we are wanting to find out how many of our current 7th grade students would be interested in taking the class.
