Here are the results of the GFESC 3rd/4th grade chess tournament. Our Elementary schools did very well. East Pointe finished in 2nd place. Brooks Wolfe earned a gold medal with 5 wins for the day. Kixter Lott, Mathias Duran-Rivera, and Jackson Little each earned Bronze medals with 4 wins for the day. Other team members include Natalie Foran, Anakin Payne, Finley Reed, Caden Slater, Rollow Whittington, Barrett Norman, Evan Mitchum, and Karalyna James. Westwood finished in 3rd place. Mya Morris earned a gold medal with 5 wins for the day. Jason Saldana earned a bronze medal with 4 wins for the day. Other team members include Owen Grayson, Matthew Rye, Tristan Martin, Canaan Clopton, Jackson Porter, Trexton Stoufer, Roman Sterling, Atreyu Pittman, Josiah Cates, Jackson Beckham, Levy Gill, Lincoln Glaze, Harrison Beasley, and Kalel Simmons. A huge THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the CHANGE WAR which was created to assist one of our own. We were able to raise over $2,000 dollars go towards medical bills for a surgery that is necessary for Jaiden. Congratulations to the 4th graders who brought in the most change!! We are so Thankful for your generosity!! 💙💙💙

We are so proud of our East Pointe students. All of our students that read the entire book of "The Mystery at Jamestown" got their name entered into a drawing. We had some special guests deliver pizza for our Thanksgiving Feast this week for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. How Fun!!🦃🦃🦃
