I am proud to Present East Pointe’s 4th grade class of 2032 and their “Dog Batik” legacy project. Each student created their own dog square, we created the quilt top and took it to Kristi Coburn, owner of The Spoiled Chihuahua. Kristi took our quilt top and turned it into a beautiful finished quilt. Brian Goodwin, owner of McCray Cabinets will be making the frame for us. Our Dog Batik will join the other many legacy projects at East Pointe very soon. Thank you Kristi and Brian for helping us complete this project. Sincerely, Becky Goodwin, Art at East Pointe Elementary School💙💙💙

The Sherlett Myers Memorial Bench has arrived. 💙💙💙
In February, we hosted a change war for KINDNESS to raise the funds to purchase this memorial bench for our beloved Sherlett Myers. A huge thank you to our students, parents, and community for your donations and to Farmers Bank for paying for the shipping charges.
Beneath the bench is a collection of heart shaped rocks signed and dating back to 2010 or before that students gifted to Mrs. Myers.

The month of April is designated as the Month of the Military Child.
The Arkansas Council for Military Children has designated April 19, 2024, as Purple Up! for Military Kids Day. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to wear purple clothing on that day.
Purple indicates that all branches of the military are supported. All the service colors are represented and said to combine for the mutual benefit of all into the color purple. Purple Up!

Our PTO is soooo much FUN!! The Read-A-Thon fundraiser prize for most funds raised went to Mrs. Boen's class!! They got to SLIME the PRINCIPALS today!! 💚💚💚

Congratulations to our March Leaders of the Month!! 💙💙💙

Month of the Military Child 💜
Banners from our students with active duty military parents are displayed in our hallway. The banners are representing or describing what it is like to be an active military child.
💜💜💜

These are some of the students who met their reading goal and turned in their Reading Log! They got a treat from the treat trolley and coupon for a free meal from Texas Roadhouse! Great job!👏🏻

PURPLE UP!💜💜💜
