Flu Clinic Reminder for Westwood Students
Greenwood High School, Greenwood Freshmen Center, and Greenwood Jr High School will pivot to online instruction for Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9th. This decision was made, in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Department of Education, due to the large number of teachers in quarantine and a shortage of substitute teachers at this time.
COVID-19 positive cases in Sebastian County continue to increase, which in turn has started to filter into the school setting. The district will use this time to thoroughly clean the buildings, and allow time for staff quarantines to expire so we can return to campus with a full staff.
Greenwood PreK Center, Westwood Elementary, East Pointe Elementary, and East Hills Middle School will continue normal daily schedules.

Important Reminder:
We recently created a new district app at Greenwood AR Public Schools. If you have the old app under the name Greenwood Public Schools downloaded on your phone, you will need to delete it, and search for the new app to download Greenwood AR Public Schools.
This will prevent confusion with any out of date calendar information that might be on the previous app.
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29th.
The conferences will be virtual.
