The Softball Tournament scheduled in Van Buren for Friday & Saturday has been canceled. Softball will play at home tonight starting @ 4:30 vs. Southside. (V/JV) Saturday they will travel to Bentonville to play 2 Varsity games against Bentonville & Benton starting @ 1:00.

Greenwood School District administrators will be actively monitoring the approaching winter weather and road conditions throughout the day. According to the latest forecast, temperatures are expected to remain above freezing until late this evening. If conditions begin to deteriorate, district announcements will be communicated via our social media pages. Please stay tuned for updates
In the past hour, our transportation director and school personnel have been checking area roads and determined they are still in good condition. The weather reports are showing snow ending by 2:00 p.m. in our area.
Therefore, we will continue with normal operations and dismissal times for all schools this afternoon.
Students may be checked out by parents without incurring absences for the remainder of the afternoon.
