Halloween Trail 👻🎃🎃 Monday, October 31st 5:00pm-7:30pm NEW ENTRANCE THIS YEAR: Betty Wilkinson Senior Citizen Center EXIT: Greenwood City Hall/Fire Station Greenwood High School students are once again sponsoring a community “Halloween Trail” on Halloween night and will be giving treats along the city walking trail from the Betty Wilkinson Senior Citizen Center (new entrance) to Greenwood City Hall and Fire Station. Around 50 GHS students dressed in fun, non-scary costumes from the service clubs and organizations will be manning the trail at various locations to pass out candy to young trick or treaters - sixth grade and below. Parents are encouraged to walk the trail with their children and everyone is encouraged to carry a flashlight. The Halloween Trail will open at 5:00p.m. and close at 7:30. Six shuttle school buses will run from the Greenwood Street Department to the Halloween Trail entrance. No drop-offs please at the Halloween Trail entrance. Any business, church or organization which would like to have a station on the trail or provide wrapped/labeled candy may donate by contacting the high school office – 996-4141. Individuals wanting to provide a TRUNK or TREAT may set up in the back parking lot of the Court House. In case of extreme cold or inclement weather, the trail will be moved to the H B Stewart Bulldog Arena. By providing this Halloween Trail, Greenwood High School would like to say thanks to the community for their support of all their academic and athletic activities through the school year.

NATIONAL SCHOOL PRINCIPAL MONTH "I cannot say enough about Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Kitchens. Together they show compassion and understanding to not only the students in the building but also their teachers and other support staff. They also bring laughter to the building. Laughing is one of the best cures for the stress we all deal with on a daily basis. They are both easy to come to with anything and eager to find a solution. I feel blessed to be a part of such a supportive school community." Alesha O'Neal "Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Kitchens make a fantastic leadership team. We can always count on them to be there for the staff and students at East Hills. They are always encouraging us no matter what the circumstances. We appreciate them for their support and passion for East Hills Middle School." Kristi Driscoll
