We are aware of recent threats circulating on social media regarding a potential school shooting during fire alarms. These threats are vague and do not identify a specific school, community, or state and appear to be part of a national trend.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with the Greenwood Police Department (GPD) and other local law enforcement agencies to ensure everyone's safety. The situation is currently under investigation.
Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our community safe.

Due to the car accident scene being cleared, traffic is preventing our buses from leaving their respective schools.
We will provide further updates as they become available.
Due to a car accident and people involved in the accident fleeing the scene, East Pointe Elementary and East Hills Middle Schools were temporarily placed on a soft lockdown until the suspects were apprehended.
Bus routes might be running a few minutes later than normal due to clearing of the accident.
We appreciate our local law enforcement officers and staff as they work to ensure the safety of our students.
