Our hearts are saddened by the loss of our legendary educator and tennis coach, Dr. Ken Hamilton.
Dr. Hamilton has been a permanent fixture in the GHS tennis program for the past 30 years. During his tenure, Coach Hamilton and his athletes won 15 conference championships and 3 team state championships, and numerous individual titles. He was also named Conference Coach of the Year 15 times.
Dr. Hamilton was notorious for his quick wit and his ability to teach not only tennis but life lessons.
We send condolences to his wife Ann, his daughters, and their families. The Bulldog family will miss him and will be forever grateful for his contributions.
A celebration of his life will be held at First Baptist Church in Greenwood, Friday, June 9th at 10:00 a.m.

GHS Graduation Ceremony moves to H.B. Stewart Arena
Due to the current weather conditions, as well as the forecast of 80% chance of thunderstorms this evening, we are moving our commencement ceremony to H. B. Stewart Arena.
GHS seniors will report to the arena for pictures at 5:30 p.m.
Doors will open to family members at 6:00 p.m. Seating capacity in the arena is 2200 and we kindly ask that you prioritize your most immediate family for seating at this time.
Overflow guests will be housed in the Greenwood Performing Arts Center for a live stream of the ceremony.
