Thank you to our community members Mayor Doug Kinslow, Dr. Allie Young- ACHE, Ty Clark - Rheem, and Andy & Jeanette Jones with Jones Home Builders and Truvi Realty for coming and talking to our kids about their respective careers! They all learned so much this week!

Last week Mrs. Bruceβs 4th grade class went Christmas caroling with Mrs. Leonard around town to spread some Christmas cheer! They sang for the residents at Pink Bud Nursing Home, Farmers Bank, and Central Office. Coach Young was so impressed with their singing that he and his elves passed out some treats to them!

Congratulations to Westwood's "Arts Smarts" winners. These students knew their facts about Andy Warhol.

We hope you all enjoy a wonderful Christmas break!

Westwood Robotics had a fantastic day at our first tournament of the season! All five our our teams showed up and showed out in both skills (driving and autonomous) and teamwork. Four of our teams made it to the finals, and our fifth team finished second in skills with dominant scores in both driving and coding. We canβt wait to see what this season holds for these amazing kids!

Some of our 3rd and 4th grade friends sang βThank You, Soldiersβ for Greenwood High Schoolβs Veterans Day assembly today to honor the veterans in our community! And we also ran into Greenwoodβs own Miss Arkansas, Kennedy Holland, who sang a beautiful rendition of βGod Bless America.

Thank you to βAGFCβ and βHunters Feeding the Hungryβ for providing meat sticks to our students in need.
