Today’s spotlight is on Mr. Kenny Wheeler!! Mr. Wheeler has been the head of maintenance at GJHS for 3 years, and has worked in the district for 14!! We are incredibly blessed to have Mr. Wheeler in our world!!

~8th grade can drop in from 6-8.
~7th grade will meet at the PAC at 6:30 for brief orientation. Then we will head to the Junior visit classrooms.

2022/2023 Supply List and Open House Information


Greenwood Jr. High is pleased to present the 7th and 8th grade Landry Gamble Citizenship Awards to the 7th and 8th grade students who are responsible members of the GJHS school community who make a positive difference in all aspects of student life. This award is named for a young man that exemplified these characteristics in his everyday life, Landry Gamble. The Landry Gamble Citizenship award is presented to the students who best
exemplify the qualities of citizenship and embody what it means to be a
responsible young adult. These awards are voted on by the faculty and
are once again the most prestigious awards given at GJHS.
Congratulations to Benjamin Alsup, Abigail Meeker, Karsen Kohler, and Olivia Weidner.

GJHS has been recognized by the state of Arkansas for scoring in the top 10% on the 2021/2022 ACT ASPIRE test. Thank you Dr. Johnson for taking the time to present GJHS with this recognition.
