Greenwood Jr. High is pleased to present the 7th and 8th grade Landry Gamble Citizenship Awards to the 7th and 8th grade students who are responsible members of the GJHS school community who make a positive difference in all aspects of student life. This award is named for a young man that exemplified these characteristics in his everyday life, Landry Gamble. The Landry Gamble Citizenship award is presented to the students who best exemplify the qualities of citizenship and embody what it means to be a responsible young adult. These awards are voted on by the faculty and are once again the most prestigious awards given at GJHS. Congratulations to Benjamin Alsup, Abigail Meeker, Karsen Kohler, and Olivia Weidner.

District administrators and our transportation director are currently monitoring local road conditions. Although snow is falling, the temperatures remain above the freezing point. At this time, the school day will continue as planned. Please stay tuned to our social media sites for updates as the day progresses. If you prefer to pick up your child early, please feel free to do so. Student drivers will also be released by their schools upon request. Student absences from early checkout will not count toward the district test exemption policy.
