In the past week, East Hills honored three VERY special families by dressing in blue, white, and gray on three separate occasions.
East Hills Middle School will wear grey tomorrow, April 8th, to show our support to the Fowler Family.
Happy National Assistant Principal's Week to Mrs. Barnes! We are forever grateful for her leadership and positivity she brings to East Hills. We appreciate all she does for our students and staff!
Tuesday, April 6, East Hills will wear white in memory of Mrs. Whitson. We will also accept donations for the family.

East Hills, let's do our part to "Crush Cancer". On Thursday, April 1st, we will wear blue to support The Mourton family. Josh Mourton is a School Resource Officer for Greenwood Public Schools and is the father of Griffin Mourton, a 6th grade student at East Hills. Donations for this family are accepted. Watch for upcoming events next week.
Good afternoon parents:
In an effort to keep students safe, we want to request that all parents who pick their children up from school utilize the car rider line at the front of the school.
Many parents have been using the convenience store parking lot for a pick up area. This is not a safe and acceptable pick up area as it impedes the flow of traffic in and out of the business, as well as exposing our students to an unsupervised parking lot and strangers.
In addition, we ask that students are not dropped off at the convenience store, but that you utilize the drop off area at the front of the building in the mornings.

A Message from East Hills Administration:
Good afternoon,
I want to make you aware of a change in procedures that will take place on March 29, 2021 regarding your child's drop off and pick up.
All car riders will be picked up at the building in the car rider line. This includes students who were previously being picked up at Eastside Convenience Store.
Eastside Convenience Store is not school property and we will not escort students to that site for pick up.
In addition, the convenience store should not be a drop off area in the morning before school.
If you have any questions regarding our car rider procedures, please feel free to contact the school.

Congratulations to 5th Grade Quiz Bowl team Afro taking first place during the Guy Fenter Co-op 5th Grade Large School Virtual Tournament! Maylee Bethel led the team in scoring. Other players were Dexter Coston, Lucas Stromley, Landen Wolford, Elizabeth Coggin, Weston King, and Kylah Robinson.
