February is Career and Technical Education Month in Arkansas. The Greenwood Medical Sciences program was invited to participate in CTE Day in Arkansas today at the State Capitol. Students were able to interact and present to Governor Asa Hutchinson, Johnny Key, Commissioner of Education and many others throughout the morning. Congratulations to Greenwood High School for being selected to participate in CTE Day in Arkansas.

Basketball Game Changes: Friday's games with Russellville will be moved to Saturday. Varsity Girls will play at 1:00. Varsity Boys will play at 2:30.
There could possibly be a JV Boys game pending officials, if so that game will start at noon.

The Arkansas Department of Health has deemed that we are no longer mandated to quarantine probable close contacts. We have been given approval by the ADH and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to make district decisions regarding contact tracing at this time.
The Greenwood School District Ready for Learning team is in agreement that we will resume District policies 4.32 Communicable Diseases and Parasites and 4.33 Student Illness/Accident.

As we begin to move from pandemic to endemic mode, our school district will continue to maintain clean, disinfected facilities to reduce the spread of any highly contagious illness, while placing a renewed focus on meaningful instruction for all students.
Wrestling tonight will start at 6:00 p.m. in the P.E. gym vs. Sallisaw.
The Arkansas High School Coaches Association announced its 2022 All-Star rosters for football, volleyball, cheer & dance.
The all-star festivities will take place June 20-25.
Rosters are composed of seniors only & were selected by the event’s coaches who chose from a list of nominations from each conference.
The event schedule also includes baseball, basketball, softball, & soccer, those selections haven’t yet been announced.
