Fifth-grade Quiz Bowl Team A took 2nd place at the GFESC Quiz Bowl tournament. The team was comprised of co-captains Grayson Lucas and Jaden Jones, Lawson Welch, Garrett DeBar, Porter Buswell, Cash Wagner, and Jesiah Davis.🏆
Grayson Lucas, Jaden Jones, and B Team player Ricky Delcour all received All-Tournament honors by being one of the top 10 highest-scoring individual players.👏🏻👏🏻

The East Hills 6th Grade Quiz Bowl Team A went undefeated at the Guy Fenter Co-op 6th Grade Tournament and brought home a first-place trophy. 🏆🏆
The winning team consisted of Mason Thompson, Gage Mooney, Ryan Bain, Taylor Bentley, Jackson English, and Brooks Wolfe. Mason Thompson, Gage Mooney, and East Hills B Team member Bailey Cossey were all three named to the all-tournament team after finishing with one of the top ten highest individual average scores. 🌟🌟
The East Hills B team finished in fourth place. Members were Bailey Cossey, Rayne Dean, Nicholas Carbonia, Caden Broman-McAdams, Lucas Parks, and Gabe Nevel. 👏🏻👏🏻

Great things happening at Greenwood Schools! 👏🏻👏🏻 The East Pointe Team took first place at the Guy Fenter Co-op 3rd and 4th Grade Quiz Bowl Tournament. 🏆🏆 The team comprised of fourth graders Easton Selkirk, Micah Wolfe, Madilyn Moore, Rollo Whittington, Jax Pickett, and Hawke Little, and third grader Hadley Hardy, who went undefeated in five games. ✨🌟 East Pointe Captain Easton Selkirk was named to the all-tournament team, posting the second-highest average. Westwood players, Theo Whitson and Garrett Redding were also named to the all-tournament team as one of the ten highest-scoring individual players.
Congratulations to East Hills 6th Grader Mason Thompson, who participated in the International Academic Competitions at UAFS and won 2nd place in the Arkansas academic competition for History and qualified for both the National competition in Orlando, Florida, and the International History Olympiad in London, England. 👏🏻👏🏻
Mason also won 3rd place in the Arkansas academic competition for Geography and has been invited to compete in the International Geography Championships this summer in Vienna, Austria.

Greenwood Junior High Quiz Bowl Blue Team took third place at the 6A Jr. Finals Tournament Blue Division Saturday.
Team captain and 8th grader Dexter Coston was named the High Point player after amassing the highest average individual score of all players in the Blue Division.
Other players were 9th graders Story Clark, Bryson Cook, and Ethan Shumate, and 7th graders Aiden Kimble and Seth Fontenot. 8th grader Gabriel Himes served as team scorekeeper

The Broyles Award honors the nation’s best assistant football coaches by creating the High School Broyles Award. 🏆 This award recognizes the top high school assistant football coach in every participating state, projecting their excellence onto the national stage.
Coach Gill will be recognized at the College Broyles Award ceremony in December in Little Rock, where he will be up for the national Assistant Coach of the Year award!
