Greenwood School District Dyslexia Report
According to Act 1039, Arkansas law requires reporting of the Dyslexia program currently being used by school districts in the state.
During the 2020-21 school year, the Greenwood School District used the evidence-based Sonday and Wilson Dyslexia Intervention Programs in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention:
During the 2020-21 school year, 236 students attending Greenwood School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.
Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of Dyslexia:
During the 2020-21 school year, 253 students attending Greenwood School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
