Greenwood School District Dyslexia Report
According to Act 1039, Arkansas law requires reporting of the Dyslexia program currently being used by school districts in the state.
During the 2019-20 school year, the Greenwood School District used the evidence-based Take Flight, Sonday, Dubard, and Wilson Dyslexia Intervention Programs in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention:
During the 2019-20 school year, 168 students attending Greenwood School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.
Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of Dyslexia:
During the 2019-20 school year, 171 students attending Greenwood School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
