DYSLEXIA REPORT

GREENWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT DYSLEXIA REPORT 2021-22

ACCORDING TO ACT 1039, ARKANSAS LAW REQUIRES REPORTING OF THE DYSLEXIA PROGRAM CURRENTLY BEING USED BY SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN THE STATE.

DYSLEXIA PROGRAM:

DURING THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR, THE GREENWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT USED THE EVIDENCE-BASED SONDAY, WILSON READING SYSTEM, AND CONNECTIONS DYSLEXIA INTERVENTION PROGRAMS IN SMALL GROUP INTERVENTION TO ADDRESS THE DEFICIT AREAS OF STUDENTS IDENTIFIED AS EXHIBITING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF DYSLEXIA.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS WHO RECEIVED DYSLEXIA INTERVENTION:

DURING THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR, 243 STUDENTS ATTENDING GREENWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT RECEIVED DYSLEXIA INTERVENTION SERVICES FROM A TRAINED DYSLEXIA INTERVENTIONIST.

TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS IDENTIFIED AS EXHIBITING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF DYSLEXIA:

DURING THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR, 278 STUDENTS ATTENDING GREENWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT WERE IDENTIFIED AS EXHIBITING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF DYSLEXIA.
