We're trying something new this year to help our Bulldog families get a head start on back-to-school shopping!
As teachers send us their classroom supply lists, we'll begin posting them on our Facebook page. We hope having the lists early makes it a little easier to prepare before school starts.

🏫 Open House is Monday, August 10.
🎉 The first day of school is Wednesday, August 12.
We'll continue adding supply lists as we receive them, so be sure to check back often.

Join us on August 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is a drop-in event, so families may visit at any time during those hours.
Be sure to stop by your student’s advisor to pick up back-to-school paperwork and a fresh copy of their schedule. You will also have time to tour the campus, locate classrooms, and meet teachers before the first day of school.

🚗 GHS Parking Passes are now available!
Parking pass forms may be picked up in the GHS front office. Passes are $5, and students must provide:
• Driver’s license
• Parent signature
Please note: Parking passes will not be sold during Open House, but forms will be available for pickup. Students may return completed forms to purchase their pass during regular office hours.

The month of April is designated as the Month of the Military Child.
The Arkansas Council for Military Children has designated April 19, 2024, as Purple Up! for Military Kids Day. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to wear purple clothing on that day.
Purple indicates that all branches of the military are supported. All the service colors are represented and said to combine for the mutual benefit of all into the color purple. Purple Up!
There will be Special Olympics Track and Field events on Thursday, April 11th.
We are thankful for our science teachers who taught us about and through the solar eclipse.
This morning administrators at Greenwood High School received an alert from a “vape detector” system which is mounted in one of the restrooms. This alert indicated a “gunshot sound”.
Greenwood Police Department and School Resource Officers responded and determined the detector alert was set off by a slammed door and that there is no threat to students.
We appreciate the quick response by the Greenwood Police Department and our School Security team to keep our staff and students safe. All classes have resumed normal schedules at this time.
