ALICE AND MARION MATHEWS SCHOLARSHIP
The Alice and Marion Mathews Scholarship ($500) is given each year to a graduating senior entering the field of education, health science, or any of the many helping profession majors. The Mathews were normal, working people in the community of Jenny Lind who were active in assisting youngsters with their academic success. They quietly helped those in need and trusted their God for help and assistance. The benefactor of this scholarship would request that the recipient use their college degree to help others, just as Alice and Marion Mathews did for many. One of his hopes is that the recipient will "pay it forward" and help others once they graduate and move into their career.
